The American Virgin Islands, which include St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John, are America's Caribbean paradise with perfect weather. Visitors to the Virgin Islands arrive by plane or boat and find a diverse culture, great duty-free shopping, and beautiful beaches that are pristine and secluded. Lodging in the islands varies from luxury hotels to private villas and interesting campgrounds. Visitors to the Virgin Islands need to bring their scuba gear because the diving near its Caribbean shores is considered world class. Additionally, visitors should pack bathing suits, sunscreen, hiking boots, golf clubs, and some fun clothes for the nightlife. There are ferries between the islands and cars/jeeps available to rent for those visitors who want to get around.
The Virgin Islands are famous as wedding and honeymoon destinations. For either a wedding or a honeymoon, the Virgin Islands mean romance!
The Virgin Islands has tropical forests for hiking and a national park on St. John. Between the hiking, camping, and kayaking in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, eco-tourists love the Virgin Islands. Additionally, visitors can golf, sail, and swim or just relax and sunbath. The three islands have excellent marinas for sailors and cruisers.
The islands are all different. St. John, the smallest and most beautiful, has the national park. St. Croix is the largest island and has something for everyone while St. Thomas is famous for its shopping.
