New Hampshire

On a Golden PondNew Hampshire, famous for having early presidential primaries, is a spectacular four-season vacation destination. Travelers to New Hampshire in the early spring can enjoy its long spring skiing and snowboarding season and visit countryside to participate in maple sugaring. The New Hampshire Atlantic coastline has good lodging, restaurants, and recreation areas and is close to a world-class horseracing track. Historic Portsmouth is the largest New Hampshire coastal community where visitors can enjoy harbor cruises, brew pubs, artistic shops, antique galleries, and museums. Throughout New Hampshire, tourists can find farmers' markets, opportunities for bird watching, and charming country inns for getaways, conferences, and business meetings. They can also enjoy golf or just relax at the spas in Whitefield, Jackson, and Meredith. Summer visitors to Mt. Washington like to cruise the lake. Many of the inland lakes in New Hampshire will remind the vacationers of Golden Pond where they can find restful vacations or adventures camping, fishing, backpacking, hiking, and canoeing. During the fall, the rolling terrain and picturesque covered bridges provide a beautiful venue for color foliage tours where they can find a waterfall and many historic sites. Winter draws snowmobiles, skiers, and snowboarders to northern New Hampshire, especially the White Mountain region. I-95 provides easy access to New Hampshire along the eastern coast.
