Whether
traveling near home or on extended road
trips, there are plenty of places to
camp throughout the United States and Canada.
Therefore, when planning a road trip, throw camping gear in the back of the car
or use the RV for some
luxurious camping. Many road trippers belong to camping clubs and
networks like the Good
Sam Club to find good quality private campgrounds, others prefer to take
their chances, and some find that Wal-Mart parking
lots make a convenient overnight spot to stop and refresh before continuing
the journey. Sometimes there is no other way to see the beautiful sites in many
of the states and provinces without camping including, backpacking into remote locations. Conversely, there are some great places to camp near
urban areas like New
Orleans, Seattle, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, and Washington, DC.
