Bayous of Alabama Alabama, the Yellowhammer State, is famous for its college football heritage and Gulf Shore beaches also have tremendous golfing.

Golfers can follow the golf trails from one end of Alabama to the other, enjoying a new course everyday of their vacations. Alabama has four distinct vacation destinations, including its mountain, metropolitan, river, and coastal regions. Mobile is a destination vacation with its two world-class golf courses, cultural events, historic houses, and access to Western Caribbean cruises. Gulf Shores, including amusement parks, boating, and sailing, bird watching, beachcombing, resorts, and charter fishing, visitors enjoy strolling through the elegant and unique Bellingrath Gardens.

Getting to Alabama is easy using the interstates or flying into its major cities like Birmingham. However, boaters enjoy visiting Mobile Bay as they navigate the Intercoastal Waterway.
